In 1692 Salem, Massachusettes put an end to their infamous "Salem Cruiserweight Trials". It was speculated that individuals under 6 feet tall and weighing less than 200 pounds were sentenced to death for "dark wrestling knowledge" which in most cases, left the ground. They either had to use credible holds like spinbusters, or be burned on a post. All of the Cruiserweights stood up for their style of wrestling and died, making the Cruiserweight championship no more. Idiots.
